The Word does the body good!

Good evening my God, Faith Grace, and Dachshund family, I pray that everyone has had a great day thus far. I apologize for the late post but, I have been going none stop since 7am. And as my day went on God reminded me about the situation with Grace a few days ago when she ate my cleaning cloth. He reminded me that as Christian that we sometimes eat things that is not good for us spiritually. Because we have not properly discerned and studied His word and when we try to digest it we throw it up like Grace did with the cloth. 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) 15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The sincere milk of the word is a phrase used in the Bible to describe the teachings and messages contained within its pages. This phrase is often used in reference to the New Testament and is meant to convey the idea that the words contained within are pure, nourishing, and essential for spiritual growth. Hebrews 5:12 (KJV) 12  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:13 (KJV) 13  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

In 1 Peter 2:2, the apostle Peter writes, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.” This passage speaks to the importance of regularly consuming the teachings of the word in order to grow in our faith and understanding of God. The word “milk” is used here to symbolize the basic teachings of the faith, which are necessary for a new believer to grasp in order to build a foundation for their spiritual journey.

Just as physical milk is essential for the growth and development of a baby, the sincere milk of the word is essential for the growth and development of our spiritual lives. Physical milk provides the nutrients and sustenance that our bodies need to grow and function properly. Similarly, the sincere milk of the word provides the spiritual sustenance that we need to grow and mature in our faith. This spiritual nourishment comes from regularly reading, studying, and meditating on the teachings and messages contained within the Bible.

One of the key ways that we can consume the sincere milk of the word is through prayerful study and reflection. This involves taking time each day to read and reflect on the teachings of the Bible, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us and reveal the truth contained within its pages. This process helps us to gain a deeper understanding of God and His will for our lives, and allows us to grow in our faith and walk with Him.

Another way to consume the sincere milk of the word is through the hearing of preaching and teaching. This involves regularly attending church services and Bible studies, where the teachings of the Bible are expounded upon and applied to our lives. Hearing the word taught in this way helps us to better understand its message and apply its teachings to our daily lives.

In addition to consuming the sincere milk of the word through prayerful study and hearing teaching, we can also grow in our understanding of it through fellowship with other believers. This involves spending time with other Christians and participating in group activities, such as small groups or Bible studies. Through this type of fellowship, we are able to learn from one another, encourage one another, and grow together in our understanding of the sincere milk of the word. In conclusion, the sincere milk of the word is a phrase that refers to the pure and nourishing teachings and messages contained within the pages of the Bible. It is essential for our spiritual growth and development, and can be consumed through prayerful study, hearing preaching and teaching, and fellowship with other believers. By regularly consuming the sincere milk of the word, we are able to grow in our faith, deepen our understanding of God, and live out His will for our lives.
